The nearest shop for general provisions is the Co-op which is on the high street. From the Vestry walk left up the hill then up the flight of stairs to Mallams. At the top of Mallams, turn right. From Stonehouse take the flight of steps to the left of the front door up to the High Street and then turn right

There is a newsagents, pharmacy, launderette and post office on the high st.

For rare breed meats visit the Bride Valley shop in Abbotsbury wwwdorsetlonghorn.co.uk or any of the six butchers in bridport on the High Street.
